Who would think you could improve on something as simple as a knot?
We didn’t --- until we saw The Clip!
This unique Clip allows you to move your horse without tying or untying the rope.
Swiftly adjusts the length of your rope. You can now have the slack to grain or water your horse very quickly with one simple pull of the rope.
The Clip is not only convenient; it keeps your horse safe inside and outside the trailer.
Award winning design allows adjustable relief from sudden tension on the rope. Its limited slip construction reduces panic by relieving rope tension, and can minimize injury or damage from a horse falling or pulling to run away.
Customers are saying The Clip is the safest and most convenient equine product of the year. Don't let this one get away!
Heavy-duty aluminum clip is 6" long, matches trailer hardware, and stress tested at 4,800 lbs. Best to use with standard 10ft 5/8" or 3/4" poly lead rope. Cross tying requires two clips. We suggest you combine The Clip with a pack of TetherRings for the perfect highline system.

1. Length Adjustment Setting
This setting is to adjust the length of your lead rope. It also is the easiest pull, good for inside the trailer or for cross ties. When you're at the length you want, place the rope over the standard slot (shown below) and pull sharply on one side of the rope. This will quickly and easily seat the rope into the standard position.
2. Standard Position (with safety relief)
With the rope seated in the standard position, you can pick the rope tension (or pull) you want for your different ropes or horses. Turning the friction screw up increases the amount of resistance on your rope. Once the friction screw is set, you don't have to adjust it again for that horse or rope. To change the rope's length, just move the rope to the upper adjustment setting again, adjust, then pull sharply to seat the rope into the standard setting, and you're done. A stopper knot can be used on the loose end.
Do not tie a stopper knot inside the trailer or while cross tying.
3. Locked
You can lock the rope by simply moving the bite on the rope down until it locks on itself. The locked setting is useful for holding up equipment or hay bags. The locked setting is NOT RECOMMENDED for use with horses.
